The Yamaha Clavinova CLP 725

The Yamaha CLP-725 is a digital piano that offers a realistic playing experience and a wide range of features suitable for both beginners and experienced pianists. Here's a description:The CLP-725 features Yamaha's Graded Hammer 3X (GH3X) keyboard action, which emulates the feel of an acoustic piano. The keys are weighted and graded, meaning they are heavier in the lower register and lighter in the higher register, just like on a traditional piano. This provides a more authentic playing experience and allows for expressive playing techniques. The CLP-725 utilizes Yamaha's Pure CF Sound Engine, which faithfully reproduces the sound of Yamaha's renowned CFIIIS concert grand piano. This digital piano offers rich, dynamic, and nuanced sound quality, with multiple piano voices and additional instrument sounds available for versatility in performance and practice. The keyboard of the CLP-725 is touch-sensitive, meaning that the volume and tone of the notes played vary depending on the velocity with which the keys are struck. This allows for expressive playing, with softer or louder dynamics depending on the player's touch. The CLP-725 offers a maximum polyphony of 256 notes, allowing for complex musical passages without notes dropping out unexpectedly, even during sustained passages and advanced playing techniques. The CLP-725 includes various features to enhance the playing experience, including built-in recording and playback functions, dual/split keyboard modes for playing multiple instrument sounds simultaneously or splitting the keyboard into two separate sections, metronome, transpose, and USB connectivity for connecting to computers and external devices. The CLP-725 features a sleek and elegant design with a compact footprint suitable for home use. It is available in different finishes to complement various home décors. The CLP-725 comes with three pedals: soft, sostenuto, and damper. These pedals allow for traditional piano playing techniques and expression, including sustain and damping of notes.
