Description
The ELM327 Mini OBDII Car Scanner is suitable for use with Android system phones primarily but also supports Symbian system phones, Windows system PCs, and laptops. It works with various apps available on Google Play such as Torque Pro, Torque Lite (free), and OBD Car Doctor (free). This car diagnostic scanner allows users to read diagnostic trouble codes, both nonspecific and manufacturer-specific, displaying their meanings from a database of over 3000 code definitions. It can help identify why the check engine light is on and assist in fixing simple car problems independently by reading and clearing check engine trouble codes. To use the ELM327 Mini OBDII Car Scanner, plug it into your car’s OBDII port, turn on your vehicle, enable Bluetooth on your Android device or tablet, pair it with the scanner (using pin 1234), download a compatible app, set it up following simple instructions, and wait for it to connect to your car’s ECU successfully.Additional Information:The device should be used with vehicles that have a 16-pin DLC under the dash to be OBD II compliant. It is not compatible with iOS systems; only works with Android devices or Windows systems.Ensure your car is turned on when connecting to establish a successful connection. In summary, the ELM327 Mini OBDII Car Scanner offers a cost-effective solution for monitoring and diagnosing vehicle issues without the need for frequent visits to auto repair shops.
