Description
The Dayliff DSD 8/23 is a submersible multistage centrifugal pump designed for water supply from wells and boreholes. It features polycarbonate impellers and diffusers, cast iron delivery and suction chambers, and an AISI 304 stainless steel pump housing, shaft, and shaft coupling. This pump is specifically engineered to handle thin, clean, chemically non-aggressive liquids with a maximum sand content of 0.25%. It has a maximum water temperature tolerance of +35°C, can be immersed up to 150m depth, and requires a minimum borehole diameter of 110m. The motor coupled with the pump is a sealed liquid-cooled 2-pole asynchronous squirrel-cage motor made of stainless steel. It operates at a speed of 2900rpm and is equipped with an IP68 enclosure class and insulation class B for protection. The Dayliff DSD 8/23 comes complete with a 30m cable and a control box for convenient operation. For single-phase motors, it is recommended to use purpose-designed Dayliff SCM control boxes to ensure protection against overload, dry running, and over/under voltage issues. Additionally, the motors require a remote DOL starter for activation. To enhance comprehensive pump control, including low-level monitoring, motor overload protection, and irregular power supply safeguarding, the DAYLIFF SCT electronic Pump Controller is suggested.
