Description
The Sony SRS-XE200 is a small, portable Bluetooth speaker with a unique pentagonal design. It comes with Sony’s ClearAudio+ feature, which adjusts the sound field based on the audio content. The speaker is compatible with Siri and Google Assistant via paired smartphones and offers customization through a graphic EQ in its companion app. However, it has limitations such as underemphasized treble, lack of low-bass, and compression at maximum volume. For music, the Sony SRS-XE200 has a boomy sound profile with enhanced bass but lacks deep thump and rumble. The treble range may sound veiled, but users can adjust the sound profile using the graphic EQ. It doesn’t get very loud, and there is noticeable compression at max volume.
