Basic Wiring Configuration:
3-Way Switch Wiring:
- The common terminal of the first 3-way switch connects to the power source.
- The traveler terminals connect to the first 4-way switch.
4-Way Switch Wiring:
- The incoming traveler wires from the first 3-way switch connect to the two terminals on one side of the 4-way switch.
- The outgoing traveler wires connect to the two terminals on the opposite side, leading to the second 3-way switch.
Second 3-Way Switch Wiring:
- The common terminal connects to the light fixture.
- The traveler terminals connect to the outgoing wires from the last 4-way switch.
