Functional Operation : When more than one vehicle control module is detected by the Diagnostic tool, you will be prompted to choose the module where the data may be retrieved. The most often to be selected are the Powertrain Control Module [PCM] and Transmission Control Module [TCM]. Designed with a clear LCD screen : White backlight and contrast adjustment. No battery or charger needed, the OBD Reader draws power directly from your vehicle through the OBDII data link connector. It is capable of reading and clearing engine information which is part of OBDII system, but cannot work with non-OBDII systems, including ABS/Airbag/Oil Service Light etc. Plug the scanner into your car's OBDII port, turn on the ignition, and then press the OK button to make the connection. To view live data, start the engine. If the connection fails, please contact the motor directly for help.
