The Dayliff Industrial Gasoline High Pressure Water Pump 2 Inches is a portable high-pressure pump designed for various applications such as water transfer, fire fighting, and irrigation. It features a self-priming closed impeller centrifugal type construction with options for petrol or diesel engines. The pump is suitable for high head water transfer tasks and comes with one or two impellers for medium or high-pressure flow performance. The construction includes high-grade aluminum body and impellers, quick couple suction and inlet connectors, a strainer, and a sturdy carrying frame for protection.The engine options available for this pump are:Petrol: 4-stroke OHV single cylinder air-cooled design with transistorized ignition, built-in oil alert, and recoil start.Diesel: 4-stroke OHV single cylinder diesel injection air-cooled design with recoil start.It is important to note that the performance curves of the engines are based on the engine governor set at maximum speed to achieve the maximum rated power output. To prolong engine life, it is recommended to run the pumps under maximum power conditions for short periods only. For extended duty, the throttle setting should be reduced to approximately three-quarters power to reduce pump performance accordingly.The Dayliff DC range of self-priming engine pumps is fully portable and suitable for irrigation, dewatering, and general pumping duties. These pumps feature open impellers designed for pumping lightly silted water and come with a sturdy carrying frame for protection. They also include quick couple hose connectors and suction strainers. The maximum suction is 8m at sea level but may be reduced at higher altitudes. The pump body and impellers are manufactured from high-grade cast aluminum.
